One in a Minion....Birthday cake catch up!

Just because I haven't been posting about what I have been making does not mean the last 2 years have been devoid of all creativity. My little lad is 6 this month so next two posts will be cake catch up. He wanted a minion party for his 4th birthday. A batman cake for his 5th and the request is in for a slugterra cake for birthday number 6. I am on the case. But back two years ago....

This was a mega stress but I was fairly pleased in the end. The eye band covers the join in the yellow fondant which made it a lot easier to get a nice finish on. Often I look back at things I made and think it wasn't quite as nice as I remembered but I am still fairly happy with this one!
